Camlough Road collision under investigation

Police in Newry are investigating a two vehicle road traffic collision on the Camlough Road around 4.25pm on Monday, 5th March. Newry Times reported yesterday about how the road was gridlocked for over an hour.

The accident involved a red van and red Hyundai. The red Hyundai did not stop and drove onto the A1, travelling south. A 49 year old male and two adult females travelling in the van sustained injuries.

Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or has information in relation to it to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
