Irish language classes set to return to Armagh

The very popular Irish language courses in the Morgan Athletic Grounds in Armagh will make a return on Saturday 11th February. The classes, which are organised by local Irish language group Cairde Teo in conjunction with the Culture Committee of the Armagh County GAA board, cater for learners at beginners, intermediate and advanced level.

The classes begin at 11 and finish at 4 and the price of £10 includes lunch. Following Culture Minister Carál Ní Chuilín’s recent visit to launch the Líofa campaign in Armagh, which encourages people to make a personal commitment to become fluent Irish speakers by 2015, this is an ideal opportunity to brush up on your Irish language skills or to learn the native language of Ireland for the first time.

There will be further intensive courses held throughout the year on the second Saturday of April, May, June, September and November. If you wish to enrol for all six intensive courses, there is a special price of £50 available. For more information or to confirm your place on the course, contact Seán on 028 3751 5229 or email sean@cairdeteo.com
