Sinn Féin councillor Anthony Flynn has said that he is delighted with the news that Roads Service have undertaken to upgrade the surface of the Mill Road, Mullaghbane and Killnasaggart Road, Jonesborough.

Speaking to Newry Times he said, “I have been lobbying Roads Service for many months on this issue. I raised the issue again during a meeting with Roads Service on 10th January and I have been assured that work will be commencing in the near future.”

Councillor Flynn added, “I wish to thank Roads Service for their commitments to me and, while the work may initially mean some inconvenience for motorists, I’m sure that people will understand the benefits in the long term.”
