Staff at Newry’s Autoline Insurance Group have been celebrating more success in recent times after they picked up the Innovative Employer Award for a large organisation at the Irish News Workplace and Employment Awards. In the company’s 35 year history, they have seen significant grown from their Newry headquarters and now have offices in Downpatrick, Ballymena and Coleraine, employing a total of 130 staff.

The judges viewed Autoline as a stand-out winner in the category commenting, “The stellar growth of this company, and its consistent pattern of eclipsing all its targets, can be directly attributed to its exemplary range of innovative people policies, many of which are role models for the industry.”

A delighted Michael Blaney, Autoline’s Managing Director, said, “At Autoline we believe our staff is our core asset. That is why we are completely focussed on the customer experience, investing heavily in staff training, and quality assurance. By making Autoline an enjoyable and rewarding place to work for our team in Newry we ensure they deliver the best service to our customers. This translates into an extremely high client renewal rate – with more than 90% of customers remaining loyal year after year.”

He added “We are delighted our efforts have been recognised once again at the premier people management awards in Northern Ireland. We are continually improving our human resources practices which are contributing significantly to our success.”
