Police appeal for witnesses to Kiln Street assault

Police in Newry are appealing for information following an assault on Tuesday, 15th November. At 9.55pm a 24 year old male was walking from Kiln Street to Doran’s Hill when he was approached by two males. They dragged him to nearby trees and kicked him a number of times before making off when people approached. Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault and, in particular, the male and female who approached as the assailants made off. Police in Newry can be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
